Climbed Before? 

Adults

If you have previous experience of climbing at an indoor wall you can become a member without an induction. If you’re visiting us for the first time, you can download our registration form along with our Terms and Conditions in order to go over the membership requirements. You can also download them and fill them in beforehand to speed up the membership process.

Aged 14-17

If you're aged 14 – 17 and have experience of indoor climbing, you can become a junior member of Boulder Central once you have filled our junior membership form. There will be an added verbal assessment as you sign up to check your competency. Please note that a parent or guardian must be present during the assessment process. From then on you may climb without their supervision.

Aged 7-13

Children under 14 can climb in the main arena at Boulder Central ONLY under the supervision of either an instructor or a supervising adult who MUST be a member of Boulder Central.

Aged 6 or under

We have a designated kids area for young kids. This can be used at any time you can just turn up with your child for climbing here. We also have a suggested time on a Saturday for younger kids to climb and play together. Click here for more information.

First Time?

If you've never climbed before, and you are over the age of 14 you can complete an Induction Session. This will last 45 minutes that will cover everything you need to know to boulder safely. Shoe hire and membership are thrown in for free! This will enable you to climb whenever you want unsupervised.

If you are visiting with a member then it is possible to climb under the supervision of that member. Members can be responsible for up to two non-members.

• Saturday and Bank Holidays: 10am – 8pm
• Sunday: 1pm – 8pm
• Off peak: Before 4pm weekdays
• On peak: After 4pm and weekends
